STRATEGIC FORECASTING
GROW
MEASURE
PROTECT
Our strategic forecasting service has 3 components:

#1 SHORT-TERM RISK MITIGATION PRIORITIZATION
We start by analyzing your business model and growth trajectory to identify possible emerging threats: regulatory, competitive, operational, and others.
A deep dive into each area reveals the facts, such as regulatory trends in a jurisdiction or competitor plans.
But what’s core is how imminent each threat is in a tight time frame (3-12 months) and what your company can do about it.
So we apply a range of analytical tools to the data—risk matrices, Monte Carlo simulations, expected value modeling, failure mode and effects analysis, and others.
We plot risks on a 2×2 or 3×3 heatmap that plots likelihood vs. impact.
Defining specific, short-term countermeasures is next, but we also employ a prioritization scoring model to ensure that low-effort, high-impact actions are tackled first.
Our team then converts these mitigation tactics into a short-term execution roadmap that defines clear owners, deadlines, and effectiveness metrics (risk reduction percentage, amount of downtime avoided, etc.)
The outcome isn’t just awareness, but action.

#2 MID-TERM SCENARIO AND CONTINGENCY PLANNING
This service focuses on the mid-term horizon—the next 2-5 years.
We start by analyzing extensive data to identify potential risks and apply advanced statistical models to estimate their likelihoods. But the true value of this service lies in what you receive: a set of 3–5 plausible scenarios, each illustrating a distinct future your company could face:
- Baseline scenario: The most probable outcome based on analytics
- Optimistic scenario: How the landscape evolves if conditions favor your company
- Disruptive scenario: When adverse shocks or new market entrants reshape dynamics
- Black swan scenario: A low-probability but high-impact event
To model these futures, we use techniques such as ARIMAX, Bayesian probability trees, and Monte Carlo simulations—quantifying not only likelihoods but also potential financial and operational impacts and identifying the KPIs most sensitive to change.
For each scenario, we craft contingency plans that can be activated swiftly and realistically. These may include:
- Strategic moves like new partnerships, M&A, or product realignment
- Financial or operational adjustments such as budget reallocation or hiring freezes
- Proactive responses to regulatory shifts or competitive innovations
- Tactical changes to product development and marketing
The result: organizational readiness.
You’ll have clear, actionable plans tailored to your business—ready to deploy for any future, from the most predictable to the most unexpected.

#3 LONG-TERM FORECASTING
While our other two services are rooted in quick responses, long-term forecasting is about transformation.
After clarifying the time frame and scope, we work with you to define the strategic questions to answer and the key systems or value chains to focus on.
With a PESTEL (political, economic, social, technological, environmental, legal) framework or models like Porter’s Five Forces, we examine the macro forces that should shape the future. We use quantitative approaches to project how many of these forces will evolve—and qualitative methods for describing changes in mindset or culture.
Tools like economic regression models, ARIMA, and systems dynamics help us create a model, but usually the forecasts are expressed as ranges given the uncertainties that increase over time. We also employ Delphi panels, horizon scanning and other qualitative methods to cover what data can’t cover alone.
Ultimately, you won’t just understand the most likely long-term outcomes, but also the specifics of how your company should be evolving to position itself as the future unfolds.
